Funny I just posted in a different thread how the top contender vs the 10th placed team the % chance win cup, difference between them isn’t as much as some might think. Hardest championship in pro sports to win.

I was thinking about this the other day, out of this list, who has the best chance of winning the cup this season? Is it TB or the field? Someone else entirely?

Yeah maybe that's why so many people are saying the Leafs aren't a contender. Tough crowd here for sure.

I think the cup winner is one of the 7 you listed IMHO, normal things will effect the final winner like peaking at right time, puck luck, injures, etc.

The % chance of each of those teams winning is not significantly different then the other teams within the 7 listed.

Well of course, just about everyone thinks that one of those 7 teams is going to win it. The point is that despite that, picking the field may well be the smart move.
