Honestly, I'm excited.
This team has never sold a high end talent in his prime in the 25 years I've been a fan. It seems every other team sells a guy in this situation and gets an amazing return for him.
Lol when has prudence ever played a role in the things this team doesIs this prudent, or is the change for the sake of change?
Be careful how you answer. It's a trick question
Yeah,Isn't his rumor asking price 8-9.5 million? That's less than Marner's current contract. Marner is gonna want a raise so we're looking at least 11 million for him. If you're asking me to pay one of the two I take Nylander any day.
Honestly, I'm excited.

Point is to keep best team possible on-top of having flexible cap space. End of the day, if trading Willie makes us better, I'll eat crow, but I'd personally rather keep Nylander over marner , if both players returned similar packages.
If they bring back a similar package, yes I keep Willi with the better cap hit. You'd rather the player who puts up less points and wasn't nominated for a Selke?
M-NTC clause is for 23/24, so does that mean starts July 1, I assume. At least he has a M-NTC and not a full NTC, if I'm the vengefully prick that I've been known to be, I'm gonna feed Groosman such a horrible tasting slice of humble pie, players are going to run from his representation. Tre give that greedy agent a punch in the mouth for all of us.

Personally think the wrong talent is being traded, but it is all dependent on the return frankly.Honestly, I'm excited.

Wasn't it between 8-9 mil?So you take the player who is much worse who is likely asking for over 9? Odd.
I wouldn't do that.
No PicksTreliving is on fire
Lot of times it seems quality gets moved for quantity, to get a deal done these days with the flat cap.The problem is no team is going to give you any value in a trade without having him extended. How many teams out there want to pay his ask of 9 plus million?
Losing Nylander will hurt a lot. Especially if we don't get much in return.
I mean yeah this is absolutely true for well adjusted grown adults(should be). When I was younger the things that happened affected me more.Whatever happens, happens. My life won't be any different and if you're all honest with yourselves, neither will any of yours.
Letting something like a sports team, which you have no control over, have any kind of serious meaning in your life just seems like a really bad idea.
Thank you for, yet again, taking time out of your important life to come to a hockey fan message board to tell us how unimportant our hockey team is to our lives.Whatever happens, happens. My life won't be any different and if you're all honest with yourselves, neither will any of yours.

All 3 start July 1st.M-NTC clause is for 23/24, so does that mean starts July 1, I assume.
