Leafs? So what team would like Engvall?? Offers?
Mayfield is worth 7 years very underrated DmanLou is going insane.
7 years Mayfield.
7 years Engvall.
Talk about stupid deals for non core players.
Certainly can see how much of a puss he is on the ice. I do wonder where he got that style of not going for the throat from.Engvall is the softest player in hockey history.

The main flaw with Engvall is he is prone to floating for long stretches of time. That is what scares me of giving so much term. Engvall is 27. This is the last contract he likely signs in the NHL. He has made it. The middle of that contract is going to be ugly potentially when the Islanders are in a rebuild they are obviously heading for and he has nothing to play for.
He'll request a trade after this season if he doesn't re-gain a full time NHL roster spot. The term on his deal makes him very unlikely to be picked up on waivers so I can see him going up and down alot the next few years if the Islanders don't want to lose another player to waivers.

Is his dad the guy who just made the hall of fame?
No one is gonna take him on waivers. If they do, NYI should be sending that franchise Christmas cards and Dom Perignon for the next decade…If no one takes him on waivers......
