Idk if there a chance of this but i would give the house and the kitchen sink for Barzal and i seriously think the CBJ should do this to help get to the next level

Barzal ( 9.1m ) for Sillinger ( 2.25 ), Provorov ( 4m ) Gavin Brindley ( Grade a Prosect ) Whitelaw ( grade b prosect )
and a 2025 1st round pick

this would speed up islanders rebuild, they could easily flip Provorov again for prosect/pick.

Does Barzal play wing? I don't think we'd have room for another top 6 center.

Not sure what Provorov does for them. Also it shouldn't matter but I think the CBJ has to appease players more than other teams, so I wouldn't trade Fantillis buddy Brindley.

love barzal and none of the pieces you listed are off-limits for me per se, but i wouldn't do that trade.

maybe something like sillinger + svozil + one of our firsts.

Fantilli and Barzal would be a insane one two punch down the middle. slide Boone to the wing or have him 3rd line center. i dont think you have to appease players when your winning.... look at what they just did to Mack.

Provo would be a piece they can flip for another teams 1st/2nd round whatever he gets.

i think CBJ are in a spot where they have too many prosects and need to package them to get a stud.

He’s played RW for the most part since Horvat arrived.

Isles aren't going to move Brazal. Outside chance in offseason depanding on new GM and coach Dobson gets move for a big package to help retool.

I don't feel like this the house with a kitchen sink. Unless the house only has a kitchen sink?

If they're trading Barzel then they're probably tossing in the towel this season, so I don't think taking back Provorov makes sense, especially when they have to do the dirty work of making the trade later on to somebody else with him. I think they would prefer to just get the extra 1st or whatever they can't without having to trade Prob themselves.

That’s not an enticing offer to NYI in any sense.
I imagine an enticing offer would be hard for CBJ. KJ, Fantilli, Marchenko, Voronkov would hold more value being young (contract) and preforming better than Barzal. Leaving pieces like Chinakhov (hurt) Sillinger, Mateychuk, 1st (mid & late), etc.

While having KJ & Barzal feeding Marchenko, Jenner, Monahan, Voronkov & Fantilli sounds nice, not sure if CBJ can afford it or have the right pieces.

It's true, but it's also true that he's often doing stuff on the ice that are traditionally center jobs, like Marner.

As for NYI, trading Barzal isn't in the realm of consideration.

After 5 wins in a row, the question under consideration is whether NYI will deal Nelson and Palmieri at the deadline. If y'all think there's space for deeper questions to be asked, you don't know this stage of Lou.

Barzal is the caliber of asset where you would have to include at least 1 or 2 of Chinakhov, Mateychuk, etc... Those guys are worth substantially more than anything listed in the OP.

I just think saying "throw the kitchen sink" and then leave out Lindstrom is telling of how serious the offer actually is. There's no actual shot the Isles trade Barzal for futures, and I'm sure CBJ is on his no trade list. We can probably lock this one up

BarZuul in Columbus would be nasty, but then you all start listing untouchables. F Off, ain't happening. Happy to keep him, over everyone on our team.
