My take on it :
-Decent PPV, not the best Takeover.
-Zayn/Nakamura will probably be my MOTY by a margin
-the bleeding and the constant medical attention completely destroyed the pacing in the main event
-I never, ever, ever, ever, ever want Nakamura to make it to the main roster. ever.
-Ibushi!
-BOBBY ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODE

His movements and how he goes about his in-ring charisma is unique as ****. There is no denying that he is capable of main eventing with a guy like Rollins, but I just can' t see Vince accepting that. I'm sure Vince doesn't quite understand all the gestures and facial expressions Nakamura makes. He's weird. He is so unique and cool, you sometimes just laugh when he's doing something weird. But I could see the main guy in WWE not quite getting Nakamura.

It legit felt like Joe was ready to bleed out tonight.
When Nakamura popped his head up with his busted nose....man. Tonight seriously reminded me why I love this ****.
I'll wait for our resident historian to weigh in, but I honestly think we witnessed one of the all time great matches tonight.

That is because Vince is out of touch. If pushed right Nakamura could be a superstar. The guy's charisma levels are insane.
I am also now depressed we will never see Nakamura/Danial Bryan.

Honestly MCG I just have to disagree with you today man. As a fan, "making it to the main roster" is not what I want for my favorite wrestlers anymore, I see it as a downgrade in every way. Watching this PPV tonight made me realize that maybe I wasn't as burned out on wrestling as I said I was, i'm just burned out of the main WWE product. It's just bad, everything is bad, they ruin everything I love

Just thank you NXT for reminding me why I love this. This was a double espresso lit on fire card and it ****ing delivered.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Brock Lesnar.
Play off their past in NJPW and their striking prowess.
Like I said, I believe he's the exception. He has charisma oozing out of him at the levels 98% of the entire roster wishes they could have COMBINED.
He belongs on the big stage. I love NXT, but watching his entrance again... he's a star in every sense of the word.
If the reports are true, his NXT run is going to be 4-6 months and then he's going to be on the main roster, so I can look forward to an epic Wrestlemania entrance next year for Shinsuke.

but that's my point, the big stage is not WM to me anymore. There was a decent amount of people there tonight, and they all cared about WRESTLING. I didn't feel like the show wasn't trying to sell me some ****ing stupid horrible t-shirt or some totinos pizza roll, it was like... a normal sport event...

Just watched Zayn/Nakamura. Holy ****. Incredible.
In regards to him being a main event superstar. He's certainly more than capable of it but I'll believe it when I see it. Vince is old af doesn't put Asians in the main event of his shows, simple as that. He's stuck in a time where we're still just a bunch of tired stereotypes from the 1940s. Something that will forever grate at me personally being an Asian fellow.

I understand. I guess i'm passed that, I don't care anymore, maybe I will once Vince and his friends are gone and the product changes drastically.
Would I like to see Nakamura in front of 100 000 people? sure. Would I like to see Vince's version of Nakamura in front of 100 000 people? nope.
