Apparently Vince was backstage tonight.
Wonder how he feels about that.
He probably thought it sucked. Vanilla midgets and women, no one wants to see that, hey Kevin?
Apparently Vince was backstage tonight.
Wonder how he feels about that.
Only matches that could compete with tonights are Lesnar/Ambrose, Triple Threat Womens. Thats really it.
Tonight was awesome, glad I was able to watch it live, thought I was gonna be working! So glad I wasn't.
-American Alpha are great, the Revival are awesome workers the chemistry they had with E&C and now American Alpha, my goodness.
-Corbin has really improved, Aries was pretty dope
-I've never seen a Nakamura match before, those two stole the whole weekend, much like we all thought they would! Patiently waiting to watch that match again and again
-Poor Bayley, considering what they had to go on after, they both did great and it was a solid match
-Joe was beast mode, my goodness. Him and Finn have developed some solid chemistry. I want to see part III I wonder if we get it since Joe should be called up. I'd love to see Joe on RAW this monday
American Alpha vs. The Revival - ***3/4
Austin Aries vs. Baron Corbin - **3/4
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn - ***************** (really it's infinite stars)
Asuka vs. Bayley - ****
Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor - ****
Damn, sounds like I missed an unreal show.
Apparently Vince was backstage tonight.
Wonder how he feels about that.
I sure as hell hope he was paying attention to what they have with Nakamura. God damn, one match in and I'm ****ing SOLD on him.
The guy should EASILY be WWE WHC in short order when moving up to the Main Roster. (of course we'll see if they do that)
Like I said earlier, the WWE would literally have to do everything in their power, and beyond, to screw up the star they have with Nakamura.
I can't wait to see this
Nakamura is solid, but he's not going to lead the WWE brand any time soon. Let's just face that reality. The thing I loved most about the Zayn/Nakamura match was how stiff they were and how quickly they wrestled. The match was at a higher pace than I've seen in a little bit. The story was great.
Ultimately that's just not the style of wrestling Vince puts on in the main event. He also wouldn't allow a guy to go out w/o being able to speak and run the show. Nakamura is a unique dude. His movements and swagger are so cool. He's something different, that's for sure, and could be a really great character, but there is just not way WWE, aka Vince, will let him be a top star.
This PPV was also stiff as ****. One of the stiffest I've watched in a bit.
