Sure...whatever makes you happy.

Maybe you can start a petition that MacKinnon UNFAIRLY won the Hart trophy and it really TRULY belongs to '38 empty net goals' Kucherov for all those factors that you're going to come up with.

Here let me help you - there were also quite a few occastions where Jonas Johansson could have passed the puck to Kucherov at the beginnig of the season last year but decided to leave it for his d-man instead. IF he would have passed it directly to Kucherov it is WAY too obvious that he would have went around ALL of the opposing players in front of him and scored!! So yeah, Stamkos sucks and is proving it this year so that has a direct impact on last year's season :scared: so there is no other choice but to say : Kucherov > MacKinnon.

The world must be told the truth!!!!

All it really came down to is we were a terrible team without Kucherov last year. Wouldn't have even been close to the playoffs. Every single guy on the team other than kucherov was having a bad year uo until the TDL, and Kucherov drug us to the playoffs pretty much single handedly. That was always the argument. By the definition of the award, it was hard to he more valuable than that.

Its a Canadian born center vs a Russian Winger. There was no chance they were going to give him that award.

I remember reading shit like this half way through the season.

It's weird how Lightning fans consistently assume that the Avs were fine without MacKinnon last year when talking up Kucherov.

It's not about being fine. We looked like a lottery team with one guy who outscored the problems and inflated everyone else's numbers.

Oh. One exception to that was Hagel. He was good all year.

Didn't get it for Nashville then, don't get it now.

Stamkos, Skjei, Marchessault. All guys with a lot of playoff miles on them on the backside of their careers. They weren't winning with or without these guys and the proof is in the standings

Yes, I don't think anybody in Nashville has any problems with Skjei or Marchessault (or their contracts). Maybe Skjei started a bit sketchy in the first few games, but he has gotten untracked lately.

If we're saying we basically got Skjei+2nd+7th for McDonagh, I'm satsified with that exchange. Or if you say we got Skjei+Molendyk+Schaefer for Ekholm, then we're still doing fine. The main problem in those areas is that it would have been much better to somehow have kept one of McDonagh/Ekholm and then added Skjei on top. Because it leaves us with 2 top-3 caliber defensemen on the team atm... (Josi and Skjei)... where it would have been nice to somehow have 3. Oh well.
