As others have mentioned, it would be a surprise if he clears but it's likely that he's out there because teams can't make the cap work so that will protect him from some claims.

My first thought was the Sharks should make the claim. We'll see.

9 teams in front of us on the waiver list I believe. I cross my fingers we get him, but I doubt it. You're not wrong, he's easily better then half our D core without question.
