I can't watch the games live right now. I want them to lose for the higher pick, but I can't actively root for them to lose... So I wait til it's over, check the score, then see how it all unfolded.

Recently on youtube I've discovered LOW QUALITY BRUIN FAN, which actually describes me. The guy who does the show is funny and pulls no punches. More entertaining than a B's game, which I understand is a low bar.

The roster they dressed tonight might of been the worst team iced in the NHL this season.

You could make a legitimate argument that half of the team dressed tonight belong in the AHL right now.

It's really a shame they collected a bunch of useless points those first 9 games after they canned Monty. (14 of 18 points).

Since that phony 9 game run ended, they are one of the the worst teams in the NHL. 26th in both points and points %.

If not for those useless points they'd be in the mix for a really good young player in the top end of this year's draft. Maybe even a decent shot at No.1 with good lottery odds.

With the east every team pretty much has in their head they are gonna have to get past Florida at some point to make it to the finals and as we all know that's not a fun or easy task to accomplish.

They won't get pick 1 barring some sort of lottery shenanigans but a proper high pick is still very much up for grabs. They're only 6 points ahead of 27th, with a tough run home and zero to play for. So I think selecting at around 6, 7 or 8 is quite likely. If they can get that plus somehow nab a later 1st via trade, plus the high second they already have, that would be a good haul, provided of course that they use the picks wisely.

We are also seeing what life is like without the last Stanley cup winner and leader on the ice. They have no leadership at all and were playing rudderless and uninspired. They are in a dog fight for a playoff spot. I know we want them to lose for a draft spot, but the fact the players are laying down proves that they pack it in when the going gets tough. Not the type of players you want for a playoff team in the future

most of those goals, the Preds were having a picnic in front of the net. Not Swaymans fault if the Bs are afraid of any body contact.

What a game! had me on the edge of my seat .Preds looked so happy. they don't get play many teams where they are the most skilled team on the ice. I'd give the B's a cumulative Hockey IQ of 20. That's being generous. Hoping we get a high pick.
