OT: November 2015 Edition Mod warning in post 1

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

This stuff happening in Paris is the stuff of nightmares. ISIS takes any disenfranchised/broken person and primes them as weapons of mass stupidity/destruction. Truly evil and frightening.

Be safe my friends in Cali and elsewhere. I know I will be looking over my shoulder more especially when I am in NYC.

No kidding. **** is getting real over there and I'm sure it won't be long before something comes up right here in the US.

EDIT: What the actual ****. At least 120 dead as of now.

Honestly does it matter which one? All that matters is some sick ****s thought their religion was more important than the lives of some innocent people who they'd never met.

But that's not even the worst part - get ready for the internet tin-foil hatters to hit you up with all sorts of hoax claims, complete with "mountains of evidence" to back them up.

Come on, ZE. It makes a huge difference. We need to know if ISIS has been entirely successful in this attack. If it is the Islamic militant state, then we are looking at multiple threats worldwide.

It's a huge distinction.

Just so all clear we have some rules here. Providing support and thoughts towards the people of France and by extension Paris are alright obviously (of which my thoughts and hopes are thinking and supporting the french people). But in this particular forum we are not talking about the political motives of the attacks. That has it's own section on the political forums of these boards.

Let's try to avoid political issues on this forum please. Thank you.

Can't you just move those posts to that forum? Is it really that much of stretch though to talk about a major global event in a thread that is, by its nature, off topic? btw : i realize this is a lost cause because a multitude of reasons but mainly bc you can do whatever and say whatever you want bc we have nowhere else to go
 
For those of you with netflix...

Not sure how many of you watched Mr Show...

But Bob Odenkirk (Breaking Bad, Better Call Sal... Birthday boys?) and David Cross (stuff...cocain... uhhh google image search) are back with a show called W/ Bob and David that has been pretty entertaining if you like random comedy. Definitely worth checking out.
