Centripetal Acceleration

Consider an object moving in a circle of radius r with constant angular velocity. The tangential speed is constant, but the direction of the tangential velocity vector changes as the object rotates.

Centripetal acceleration is the rate of change of tangential velocity:

A = V²/R

My math is breasts + movement = awesome

i just bought tickets for that Edmonton game to take my Dad. I was surprised at the ticket prices but given that's the only night he could go, I didn't have a choice. I'm wondering if the prices are high because it's a Saturday, Bobblehead or McJesus (who is now hurt)? Maybe all? I splurged and got tickets in row 2 of the 100 level. I usually don't like to sit that low because of the obstruction but f it. And no, you can't have my bobblehead(s)!

You ever see this oldie but goodie?

EDIT: Saw this on the comments and it's definitely worth doing:

I played some drums when I was in junior high school (early '70s). Drumstick gymnastics was a big deal in those days (of course, most drum lines were like the ZZ Top song there, not that much activity). Kind of surprised we don't see more of it...but these guys are older and would have gone through that period.

Guess it's not such a big deal now. I used to be able rotate drumsticks too when I was younger...probably would break a couple of knuckles if I tried that now. :)

I like at 2:18 where he is acting robotic for about 10 seconds. I have no idea how he keeps a beat doing all of that stuff. He's probably played that song and many other songs with really generic beats that he had to find a way to keep him self entertained.

I remember seeing Josh Freese play with the Vandals in the early 90's and he would do stuff like that. Speaking of which, I'm not sure why a guy with so much talent ever ended up in a band like that. Even the guitar player (Warren) is really good player and he wastes it playing crappy punk music.

I originally missed that part. Maybe because the guitar player is in the way. Thanks for pointing it out. A true entertainer can keep the beat and do all that crazy ****. I'm not even good enough to stay in time! :laugh: much less get up and hop.

Did you guys know the indian guy from short circuit was a white dude in makeup?

Also, Aziz Ansari (Tom from parks and rec) got a Netflix show... "Master of None"
Only seen a couple episodes, but pretty funny. Definitely worth checking out.

I think I am going to start bringing bacon to In-n-out. My friend works in the corporate office and swear that people bring it in all the time.

I am thinking thick cut pepper bacon.

No!

“This parcel of land was always meant to transition to a more permanent use,†said Irvine Co. spokesman Bill Lobdell. The plan the company put forth in 2006, to build housing next to Irvine Spectrum businesses, will ensure the city’s long-term economic health. “With the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre lease expiring in early 2017, the final phase of that plan can then go forward.â€
