This is a tough team, but not a terrible matchup for the leafs. The Jets are a better team this year than the Leafs, but the games Toronto plays well are against teams that less run-and-gun so the Leafs can bring them into that game. Again, the Jets are better, but its a pretty good matchup for Toronto. To me this is really a toss-up, I give the edge to the leafs due to home ice.

Winnipeg is mediocre on the power play and on the penalty kill (which I wouldn't expect given their record). I feel like this will be a game with a lot of penalties, so that will give the Leafs a good chance to put some power play goals on the board.
