You don’t seem to understand that where Wakely would play would determine the return. It was not Kingston. Oshawa was not ready, and really not able to make that commitment. Barrie was offering (potentially very good) spare parts, not six or more (2-4) picks.
I can say with confidence that I watched [(at least)] double the amount of central division games that you did last season. Moses did not warrant top six minutes with the colts, or top 9 minutes with that team by mid-season. And TBH, I would have preferred J.Newton over Moses.
Just admit you were wrong dude. If you think J Newton is better than Moses you need to actually watch a game

I said I would (prefer) J.Newton. He is a centre; and at this time a better body checker, and defensive player.
If you disagree with that, it is you that needs to watch a game.

7Pts in 45 games last year. Moses on the same team had 25 pts get off the drugs

Recently Adam Dennis made the comment that it would be the team's objective this year to surpass what was achieved last season. While it's still early days, we don't seem to be getting the vibes that his objective has a realistic chance . I've been a sth since day one, and it doesn't take long to get an impression of what we have player-wise. Considering the current roster, does anyone else see this team going far, or am I just being pessimistic?

The only true centres are 18 & 16. I very much doubt NB goes beyond round one. I do like the make-up of the team for next season though.

Is it normal for GMs to lay out their plan to rebuild? That just sounds like a manager voicing his confidence in the team in front of him. Odds are this team doesn't see the playoffs the next two seasons knowing the teardown we're likely to see leading up to the deadline. Losing Romani for the duration didn't help their chances either.

Then why did you say that 16 and 18 are our only true centres then say that 18 is the D?

Because no one has committed to him (A.LeBlanc) as a full-time centre; and the battalion use Procyszyn, Pazii/Laird/LeBlanc, Carey, Richter as their four centres.
(Jacob)LeBlanc is a defenceman. Andrew is LW/C. …18 & 16 are the ages of the true centres I was referring to.

This is why I was high on Moses. Don’t think he keeps this pace up but I can see 50 points absolutely. Not a 4th liner like some here think LOL

Moses is more skilled than most people give him credit for. He is not the fastest skater but is really agile. He has good vision and puck skills. If he plays high in the lineup he will get points and plays a power forward game. Barrie never gave him the chance to play with players who could finish his passes.

Moses played 3rd line in Barrie mostly this year. Mostly 4th line last year. It's hard to produce when you are getting limited minutes. He got a lot of his points on pp last year. When you play with top players you will get your points. If you think your coach and GM think highly of you the confidence grows. Confidence means you arent afraid to make mistakes or gripping your stick too tight. Its tough to just go out and produce when you sit for 10 mins bw shifts and playing 5-6 mins a night.
Players he played with in Barrie were good and he played PP this year. He just had a slow start but the skill is evident. Clearly he needed a change of scenery.
Ive said it before high end picks should not be 4th line guys until they have been given the chance to succeed. 2 strong lines and a 3rd line should be top kids (or mix the top kids in top 3). 4th line are vets and character guys that cant crack top 2. That way you are always developing within. You have to give your young top picks a legit chance and if they aren't ready at 16 have them play OJ like London does. 5 minutes a night is not development. Minutes and confidence goes a long way. NB clearly believes in playing their young guys. Moses will thrive there.
