I agree with Dirty. Adam Dennis won’t miss the opportunity to recoup players and picks.

Arnsby and Cooke might be back tonight. I would put both of them with Ertel. Keep the Wakely line. #13 #21 #6 could be a nice 3rd line. #18 #10 #29 will be fun to watch.

Go Troops!

Confirmed – game lineup sheet has 8 Brice Cooke and 11 Liam Arnsby listed, 12F, 6D. This is the best version of the Battalion, as presently constituted, this season. It will be very interesting to see how they stack up vs. the (for now) division leaders.

Just got back from the game.....

Positives - 1.) 6 goals for. 2.) Wakely/Romani/Van Steensel? Great game by that whole line. 3.) Rookie Laird - 2 point night.

Not - So - Good : 1.) Defence as a whole was terrible. Way too many odd man rushes. Special teams was a huge letdown . 2.) DDV just wasn't "himself" tonight - but hey....spit happens; he'll recover. 3.) Will the real Ty Nelson we all know and love in the Bay please stand up?!?

DiVincentiis just doesn’t have ‘one of those games’, he was not 100% in the game for some reason.
The PK was unusually passive. They’ve got some things to iron out if the collapsed box is to be the new norm.

Ty is definitely pressing; and, he and his D partner kind of clash. Cajakovic is a better player than I expected, but he is pushing the pace instead of playing a simple safety-net role to compliment Nelson.
If Turley is not trusted to be that stay at home guy, a #4 D will prove to be the biggest need. It already has imo.

Game sheet lineup looks to be the same as last Thursday vs. MIS, including DDV in net looking for a redemption game. FLT is on a 2 game northern heater trying for the sweep today. The teams have similar records, FLT has won 3 of 8, NB 4 of 9, both teams prefer away games, ‘birds 3-2 on the road, Troops 1-3 at NBMG. Looks like attendance could be in the 2400 range.

Tough assignment tonight vs. #2 team in the West. Lineup sheet has Stef Forgione (18 career OHL GP, next point will be his first) in for Laird, DDV has the net. GUE is playing their #1 (1.88 / .933) Brayden Gillespie, apparently saving their backup for SBY on Fri. 1962 unsold as at 4:30, suggesting attendance in the 2300 range.

At what point do Robertson/McIvor get some game action? After Christmas when DD is off to Sag?

One against the weaker team of a back2back on a 3 game in three or four days week.
I first thought it would be Robertson traded, not I’m not sure any of the three are traded.

You sure do seem to have a massive hate on for a 4th liner who brings some energy. If we’re relying on SF28 to do some scoring we’re doomed.

The 3rd and 4th line should have played the entire third period.

#21 looks lost this year.

#21 was playing out of his natural position last night. I personally like his game. First round pick Kostuch should be playing higher up in the lineup. Cooke hasn't shown much. The storm made us look 'small'!!!

PP is abysmal, enough to put you to sleep, not sure why Romani is slotted in at D. We might lead the league in shots that miss the net

dont know who is in charge of powerplay but we do need help
Yeah, they need mix up the shots a bit. Though Ertel did have a couple of one-timers last week for a change. Procysyzn, Ertel, and Arnsby can use a little work on their shot as well.
It’s the new look PK that’s really let them down the past few games.
