Not enough playing time to go around. He also had next to no takers at the deadlineWhy did you trade Robertson but thankyou

Are we getting dollar value out of our trade deadline deals?? Other than Vilmanis, I think not. Also, if you can't match the energy and hustle of Therrien, you shouldn't be getting ice time!!
I'm thinking they traded the wrong goaltender. The future doesn't look great in that department as i'm sure Dom (along with Nelson), will not be here next season.
Also, in the Templeton days, Bert would never trade a player within his own division, especially a goaltender as it will always come back to haunt you (as it did last night).
Another problem I saw was they never started the game with any energy. Possibly celebration Saturday night taking over 1st place.
I agree with Jerseys, take them out in the back field and burn them.
I think Dennis can be trusted with making the right goaltending decisions.
I think Dennis might be wrong in this case.
Of course he knows less than you, particularly about goaltenders. Give your head a shake, Robertson had a good night, leave it at that.I think Dennis might be wrong in this case.
After 1 game?I think Dennis might be wrong in this case.
The only deadline rental you're getting any sort of value back is Bronson Ride, if he turns into anything worthwhile. The LeBlanc kids will both be OAs and judging by the number of teams they've played for thus far, the market may be quite thin. The market for OAs is generally pretty weak to begin with.Vilmanis and the twins improved the team, a lot; and, some of the picks will be returned when the twins are traded. Ride is 2.5 season investment. I think the Battalion had one of the better deadlines.

It remains to be seen how much this team has improved because we're only gauging success by the number of playoff home games we've added. Hopefully to the final.
It's possible that two of the three you mentioned turn pro assuming the team has a pretty respectable playoff run. I'm not really concerned about which OAs they run with in a rebuild year. But most teams generally have OAs with tenure that they're pretty happy with. Thus the market is quite weak. The returns on OAs for NB may depend on which the team decides to go into the season with. I think there will be plenty of interest pre-season for VanSteensel-Wakely, and Mathurin. The team can then rotate Cooke and McDowell in with the twins until the trade deadline.

I think if Therrien sits on the bench with limited time he'll want out next year. Are we getting dollar value out of our trade deadline deals?? Other than Vilmanis, I think not. Also, if you can't match the energy and hustle of Therrien, you shouldn't be getting ice time!!
A Leblanc has 3 + 3 for 6 points in 6 games. Not to mention the timeliness of a couple of his goals, in fairness he has been better overall this far than Vilmanis has been. Are we getting dollar value out of our trade deadline deals?? He reminds me a lot of the 2013-14 pair of Jamie Lewis and Connor Jarvis.I think if Therrien sits on the bench with limited time he'll want out next year.
Well said, Mr Therrien. We need to play EP and JT more to develop them for the future here. EP is a first round pick and JT is putting up more points then most of the first rounders that year. If you look at the other top players in the 22 draft their playing big minutes. You only have 4 years in this league and the 2nd year is almost done. EP is on the radar but because of JTs size he's over looked. The way JT plays, I don't think he fits into the coaches plans and is utilized effectively. With his speed and offence we need to put him in those situations.
Our team is always based on seniority which hurts us in games and effects our future. We've had plenty of kids leave over the last few years because of not getting opportunity. We only have AR and WK from the 21 draft and got rid CK from the 23 draft. We need to keep these two or we're going to be dismal for the next five years.
Who?We've had plenty of kids leave over the last few years because of not getting opportunity.
