The 49ers offense is (was?) playing well, but they can't stop anyone. They just fumbled at the one.

The Raiders play a Sunday night game for the first time in a long time.

They were good in the first half and completely disappeared in the second half. Kaepernick went from looking like a legit QB that was on pace for like 500 yards to someone that shouldn't even be in the league. How does he drop off so much between halves? Arm fatigue?

It may be perverse of me, but I keep hoping for the 49ers to continue to be abjectly terrible. There are many reasons for this: 1) it improves draft position, 2) it increases the likelihood of Baalke being kicked out on his incompetent ass, and 3) it increases the possibility of a full scale fan/PSL holder revolt, costing the team millions or even tens of millions in revenue. That being one of the few things that could get the Yorks to finally sell the team to someone with an IQ larger than their shoe size. That and I despise the Yorks so much, I get a great deal of schadenfreude at watching the team flail helplessly under their "stewardship."

I could see the first two happening but not the third. There was no guarantee the team was going to be good when people bought their PSL's. I also don't see the York's selling the team because it's a cash cow for them and only getting more valuable. It would probably have to take some legal action (such as what happened with DeBartolo) or for the team to be just too much of a headache to continue running. Considering how ****** they've been in the past and the circus the organization was during most of the 00's, I doubt that happens.

I totally agree. It's pretty much how I feel as well.

Sadly though, I don't think there is anyway the Yorks could take on a big enough revenue hit for it to worry them. Even if revenue dropped say $25 million this season, it wouldn't be enough to make a difference given that the team is making far more than they were before the Yorks took over.

It's a terrible situation for the Niners as a team. Until Baalke is gone and York realizes he needs to step away entirely from football operations, the Niners are in for a lot of seasons like these past 2.

College basketball starts on Friday!

Cal is the fourth team out of the AP poll. Ivan Rabb was a first team preseason All-American if I'm remembering correctly.

St. Mary's starts the year 17th in the AP poll.

happy for the raydoors glad a team can win around here lately

Can someone please get mark davis to get a haircut it seriously bothers me.

His bob cut is an extreme mismatch for him. A flat top might serve him well.

Back on topic, I think it's logical to claim it might be the Raiders/Patriots for the AFC Championship.

Went from Justin Smith taking up 2-3 lineman to a line that so often gets pushed to the left and right leaving the middle completely open.

Pretty incredible one of our weakest units is the unit we've invested each of our past 2 first round picks on. I believe Buckner will be an average to good starter at DE eventually. But Armstead is crap. I'm ready to call him a bust and have been for most of this season.

So, Niners pretty locked in to a top-3, probably top-2 pick. What kind of names do they go after? So many holes on the roster. Actually, the roster is pretty much a giant hole itself.

They still have to outtank the Jags and Bears, so I wouldn't say that they'll have a top 3 pick just yet. Top 5 for sure.

As for names, Garrett, edge player from Texas A&M; Allen, DE, Alabama and Peppers, anywhere, Michigan.

No matter where their pick ends up, they need to trade back and get more selections. But fire Baalke first.
