  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

I’ve had words come out of my mouth that end up sounding absolutely nothing like the word I meant to come out. It looked like Kuip knew he botched the first syllable and then compounded it by messing up the 2nd as well.

I don’t think it makes him a racist or that the word is a part of his vocabulary. I do think he’ll get punished and deserves it because actions (and words) have consequences regardless of intent. I just believe intent is the difference between a suspension and a termination.

Oh absolutely. It’s levels of magnitude better. The A’s just look like a freaking clown show changing gears after the “big” announcement a few weeks ago.

This is the fourth time they’ve “announced” a ballpark and then changed course. It would be comical if I weren’t a fan.

Too bad MLB didnt force fisher to sell the team before they move. Shame hes going to make a ton of money once there's a new park.

Im glad i became a braves fan back when i was young. The braves ownership is just mediocre now but fisher :facepalm:

Ain’t happening. Every announcement by these clowns is just an attempt to leverage someone else. This site is much worse for the A’s for political and financial reasons.

Fisher just keeps f***ing up, and I’m starting to enjoy the shit show instead of being maddened by it.

Heard the same thing 3 years ago. Steph clearly isn't slowing down,and Wiggins is still young and solid. Let go of Draymond, trade JP for anything you can get, and you have cap-space to build around those two. Maybe even get rid of Klay.
One reporter brought up Wiggins+Poole for Brown+Brogdon. Wouldn't be awful, but Wiggins is such a good fit for the team with 0 ego.

I have a hard time taking a series seriously where every game the Lakers managed to win required an absurd free throw disparity. There was no flow to that series at all, the refs just kept blowing the whistle.

Warriors don’t have a lot of flexibility because they paid those dynasty guys. If they make a push going forward, it’s going to be on the backs of guys already there.

Sacramento has a ton of cap and a solid chance at bringing Sasha Vezenkov over from Europe. They need a back up 4/5 who can go and rebound and get dirty with guys like Looney, which will allow Sabonis to play his style instead of the defenses. They’ll also need an HB replacement at the 3 if they decide to let him walk. Jerami Grant is probably a pipe dream, but he’d be a solid 3rd option on offense.
 
GSW paying a lot of players a shit ton of money is one of them good problems

the players did their part and were major reasons why they won 1 if not multiple championships, so as far as they're concerned, they're just collecting backpayment for previously underpaid work and everything is square (aka, what GMDW did, but without the cups, lulz)

that being said, I do wonder about an alternative universe where GSW only gives Steph max money and does the ruthlessly optimized buy-low-sell-high thing with everyone else

fwiw, i'm confident poole will bounce back next year

Guess you're ignoring the fact that they did review the case. The fact that he was let go 2+ weeks after the fact goes against your whole "ask questions never" spiel.
