I'll never, ever understand the Kyle Shanahan hype. That loss is *far* more on him than it is on Garoppolo and Tartt. His playcalling in the 4th quarter was absolutely atrocious. Where was Deebo in the 4th quarter? Kittle? Why are you putting your friggin' stud LT in motion on a 3rd and 1 and then run the FB up the middle, making the motion completely useless? Punting on 4th and 2 on the Rams 40 when you're up 3 and they're out of timeouts?

Then the last two drives with him calling a bunch of 5 step drops for Garoppolo when the Rams' DL is feasting was just asking for it ... and shocker, it ended with a Jimmy G pick under duress.

The Bengals have of course proved everyone wrong every week so far, especially beating the Chiefs in KC, but I really just can't see the Rams losing this one. It's teed up for them perfectly. That Rams DL and pass rush is the perfect kryptonite for the Bengals' poor OL. At least we'll have a fresh champion for the first time in a while

Started with Peyton, but all these QBs I grew up with and had long careers are now retired. Brees, Ben, Eli, Rivers. Even guys like Romo and McNabb I kinda got a little misty eyed when they hung it up.

I don't like the guy that much but have to admit, Rodgers will be a sad one for me too. Ryan probably as well. Not a lot of dudes left who are older than me (33)

It does seem like we've got a good crop of guys to look forward too. Herbert, Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, Lawrence (assuming the Jags don't ruin him), Fields. Geez the NFC needs to get it together with their QBs.
