I think there are clearly qbs better than Stafford. That doesn't make him a choker.

Not much he can do about 2 Akers fumbles and an early snap from crowd noise.

He seems just good enough to win a superbowl in the right situation.

Garappalo....he needs 200 yards of rushing from his rbs to have a shot at winning....and he's not accounting for many of those yards himself.

In fairness, my wife never lived there as she moved right after being born so we've spent zero time in Buffalo. A lot of her relatives are Bills and Sabres fans, but they are the kind that aren't obnoxious and are so beaten down you feel sorry for them. My only experience with bad Sabre's fans was the 05/06 cup.

My brother, who was a year older than me, and I grew up big Green Bay Packer's fans. The Packers were pretty bad back then so we both adopted alternate teams. My Dad took me to meet one of the legendary Oakland Raiders players, who gave me an autographed team photo of the Ken Stabler era Raiders and that's the team I adopted. My brother, for some reason, picked the Bengals so for a number of years, we trash talked, even though the Raiders had more success. My parents bought us Raiders and Bengals uniforms and helmets for Christmas that year.

Later on, we both went back to the Packers as our team, but he passed away this summer so I'm completely rooting for his Bengals.

Honestly I latched on to Burrow as my favorite QB when he was drafted because he was... well, my favorite QB in a long time. But I never thought in a million years he would take the Bengals of all teams this far. It was part interest/part meme. But I am loving it all the same.
