Ideal game 1 lineup.

6, 7, and 8 are potentially very dangerous that deep in the lineup. Given the players on the post season roster, this is the best lineup we’ve got.

Taylor has hit 21 home runs this season too, that's pretty juicy for a 9 spot hitter.

and all of the opening round games are at the same time....

Yeah a little unfortunate, already had tickets to game 2 (and 3 if necessary), had to let work know last minute I wouldn't be there those days

I don’t feel like the twins pitching is anything above average. Gray has been good but not lights out and has rough innings still especially if he has to go 3rd time through the order.

Gray is probably gonna be a Cy Young finalist

Royce has no pulse in a good way

"Kirby Puckett, Torii Hunter, and now Michael A Taylor"

Hey, he keeps making catches like that, I'll allow it

Also on a personal level, I'm pretty excited to see what Royce can do in the playoffs, if he can actually play. I feel like most successful teams have that one guy you can really rely on to elevate their game in the playoffs, almost as if they don't know what pressure or nerves are, and I think if there's one guy on the Twins with the potential to be that, it's him.

Not that I have these expectations for him, because that would be insane of me, but kinda like Bryce Harper last year.

I'm not disappointed

While definitely an important catch, it wasn’t as spectacular as the announcers made it out to be

I was listening to it on TV. Ran back to see the replay. Thoroughly disappointed.
I think this is where we're at though based on the 19 year winless streak....leading the game and waiting for that very familiar shoe to drop. Every play seems dramatic, because we're so desperate to survive and get that monkey off our backs.

Plus, the announcers suck.
