Quarterback is the most important position in the game. I can live with spending a large chunk on that position and less on other positions.
He's one of the most overrated QBs in the league.
The cap is a franchise issue, and he's not worth it. Josh Allen? Patrick Mahomes? Yes, Wilson? Not even close.
100% false. If anything, he's been underrated almost his entire career.
It's been a staple for his career. Too short. Fell to the 3rd round. Not good enough to win a super bowl. Just a "game manager."
So disrespectful for a great quarterback.
Oh, i understand he used to be underrated. I said as much myself. I know he's more than a game manager, but you can still be more than a game manager and still be short of greatness. It's not an either or situation here.
He's not as good as Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes, but yes, he's better than a game manager.
I'll still take Matt Stafford over him though.

Russ has always been limited by Pete Carrolls old school philosophy of playing great defense and running the ball. He finally has say in the offense this year of what plays he wants to run and when. Russ is going to ball this year.
IIRC Russ played more time without Percy than with.
He also played with Doug Baldwin who was a very very underrated WR.

We looked fantastic against the Packers.
Harrison Phillips look to be a great pickup, they couldnt run it up the gut as in years past.
I just about fainted when I saw 5 wide on the first drive, i cant recall a single time seeing that under Zim. I also just about fainted a 2nd time when we went for it on 4th and 1 on their 3 or 4 yard line, when under Zim, he would of taken the 3 points.

not until they shut down JJ we dont. let those 2 stay under the radar and not gameplanned against.
I expected a nice boost for the offense, but I was surprised at how well the defense played as well. Sure GB has no punch at WR, but anytime you can keep Rodgers to 7 points thats a W. The only hole in the defense seemed to be the outside checkdowns.
