OMG I think that was my first ever nomination. I joined in 2011 although I took a break for some years. I guess that solves it. @Bob Richards is by far the smartest poster on HF!!! We can all stop voting now. Congrats Bob!

Up there with every post @Tob made about Peter Holland and when jovo’s uncle was watching a game with him and said “I didn’t know trocheck was Black”

i vaguely remember something about this now.... not sure if that was on this account or the old account.
 
At least most of you have gotten out of the habit of constant username changes so it becomes easier to keep track of who is who.

We should do a 'former username' thread so I can figure out who actually left the board vs who changed their name to something nonresembling the original.

"Cised" was a popular term when I moved here 30 years ago which for several years I thought was just people with stupid accents saying "psyched" as it means more or less the same thing, but it's a whole different slang word. There is a popular radio program called "The Sports Junkies" that has been on the air forever in this region and those guys always said it/say it, and I think that's probably why our esteemed poster (D-I major DODO) still insists on using it. :laugh:

We should add one other award, quoting Highlander:
"THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE"

that should be for the poster who distinguishes him/her self with such a unique style through postings it is hard to mis that poster up with another.

When we first did these many years ago, I won favorite mod (I was either a global or an admin at the time), most helpful poster, and possibly friendliest if that was a thing. I won several, in any case.

Now we have too many dillweeds who post here and infuriate me and so I'm neither friendly nor helpful, but instead spiteful and condescending.
