I'm quite impressed with myself for predicting a 5-1 score!

Gosh, the Sh*thawks are awful!

Gonna be a long year for Chicago.

Missed most of the game as I was harvesting/trimming.
Happy to see they won.

Probably miss most of the game tomorrow night too between working and hopefully catching the Canelo vs Plant fight.

You trim as soon as you harvest or let it hang awhile?
I trim before its pain later. We need a thread on this topic.

I always give it 10 games before my first report but this season I will give it 11 games. My review would be a bit too flowery after last nights beat down of a lifeless opponent.

It will be fun seeing this Jets team stress tested against Carolina, NYI, or a red hot Oilers group etc.

6-2-2 is not lost on me even though our schedule has been soft.

I will dig in more after I see this new look Jets team v Barry and the Isles.

Yeah I was thinking about it today - good thing we waited for at least 10 games before starting the riot. Looks like we're fine.

10 games in.

PLD: He is a game changer for the Jet. He gives us that power forward that can win you SCs.

Connor: What can you say? If this play continues is Connor may be a top 5 winger in the league.

Copp: Every game Copp is making the argument that the Jets must resign him. Not is he only proving he IS a top 6 forward but he is proving that he maybe a top 6 C. It may be early but I think I may have to eat some crow when it comes to Copp.

Ehlers: So far a disappointing season. He has not been terrible but he can be so much better. I keep waiting for the dam to break but so far it has not happen. Tonight I thought he was the worst player on his line.

Stastny: Every game he is the smartest guy on the ice. Stastny may have slowed down a lot but his positioning and superior hockey sense is why he can still produce. Copp and Stasts have great chemistry.

Scheifele: It has been only 4 games for him so I will reserve judgment. So far not impressed. My buddy joked tonight that if the players didn't have numbers on their jerseys you would know that Scheifele's line is on the ice because they are the line that is always hemmed in their own end.

Wheeler: Read above. Father time has really hit Wheeler and unlike Stastny he does not have the hockey sense to adjust his game to make up for his lack of speed. I hope he proves me wrong.

The rest of the forward are interchangeable. Lowry has not improved Scheifele and Wheeler's 200 foot game so far.

JoMo: May yet prove he is a real NHL #1 D. His play has been great so far this year. His confidence in the O zone handling the puck should increase his point totals big time.

Schmidt: Comes as advertise. Great transition and passing D. Not great in our own end. JoMo and Schmidt work well together.

Pinok: No so good so far this season but was OK tonight. Jets need last year's Pionk to show up.

Dillion: Not impressed. Servable D but so far Dillion and Pionk don't seem to click. Willing to give them more time to figure things out.

Stanley and DeMelo: OK 3rd pairing. Don't notice them most games so that is a good thing.

Helle: Has not been good but we are winning despite his play. He WILL figure it out.

Comrie: Very pleasant surprised! He is doing his job and may be solidifying his place as a decent NHL backup goalie. Good for him.

PP: having 2 really good PP units is awesome!

PK: Work in progress. Need big time improvement.
Thanks for you assessment!

I will disagree with Fefe and Wheels.
Both are just back from Covid protocol, we know Fefe was asymptomatic but I am not sure if Wheels was...needless to say we have no idea how Covid affects top tier athletes immediately, mid or long term.
We do know that it affects the respiratory system and combined with the time off I can see that being the greater factor rather than mysteriously falling off the cliff.

So the coach should help them by playing them less minutes which mo thinks he’s doing. Just 22 minutes not the 30 minutes he wants to play them.

Did Mo say he wants to play them 30 minutes?
I don't seem to recall reading or hearing that statement from him.
