Moving Savard would be a mistake. He's too valuable to the team. Matheson on the other hand...his whole gameplan is to play as badly as possible and somehow continue to get prime ice.
At least the ice wasn't as horrendous as Buffalo.
How many years has Burrows been running the PP? I'm completely baffled that no one has ever questioned his incompetence publicly. Habs lose so many games cuz of their bad PP. Such a mess. No one wants to shoot and everyone just wants to pass it around the perimeter. So pathetic.

Our offence is just ridiculously bad.
The team rarely gets destroyed like in Ducharme era but they are not more entertaining.

Burrow's definitely friends with the media. It's insane he never gets questioned publically
I know we don't have awesome players. Obviously. But the strategies are just downright bad. They never adapt, they're not moving... Ugh

2nd in scoring while getting back after a shoulder surgery, i’ll take it.
When Anderson got the same surgery he said it took him half a season before he felt 100%

It's hard to do with Dach and Newhook out but I think that the first line should be split up. They just don't gel.

He's worse than Bonk or Smolinsky. He's more in the Chad Kilger type of player or Jim Montgomery.
But how about his body language? He's unhappy, no positive emotions, no fun, no nothing except that unhappy face. I guess in his head he misses the cactus or Arizona and playing golf all year long.

Seriously though, I think it's safe to assume that the injury is still impacting CC's shot. I can not say that I'm not worried about it.
There is something slightly off with his shot and it's enough for the goalies to make the saves. He seems to have lost a little bit of everything (accuracy, speed, release quickness, etc). Hopefully it's only temporary.

It sounds like another tanking year. Not in the top 4 but between 5 to 9.
Why every year the only players who produce gets injured. Monahan, Caufield, Ghule and Dach last year, Dach this year and now Pearson. By chance Suzuki is always there but the rest have their part of injuries.

There is no pace, no puck support. Add in terrible defensively and lack any physicality.
The PP is painful. No movement, no strategy. Same ol Matheson trying to force plays or just fumble it
And on top, no consequences. Gally was a grade a tool most of the night and who is out with the goalie pulled. Anderson useless, Matheson terrible. And never are they sat in place of someone else

Ducharme era had bad goaltending while MSL frequently gets good goaltending, not much else is different.
