As much as I like Larsson, Hall is far more valuable and proven player. Klefbom and Larsson could end up being a dynamite 1st pair, but then again maybe not. We already know Hall is a top line forward. Weird trade for Edmonton.

I don't get the idea of a fleecing, Hall is a winger making 6 million, Edmonton has a bunch of wingers... they don't have a top 2 RHD who makes less than 6 million... so not only does Edmonton actually save some cap space here, they get a guy who they needed badly, a legit top pairing RHD.

This is a good trade for both teams, helps both teams, NJ adds some scoring and can move a D man because of all their young guys back there, Edmonton saves a few bucks and picks up an RHD.

As a flames fan, not looking forward to seeing the Klef/Larsson pairing develop together. As a team, I feel like they're better today, even if they lost the trade
