Solid trade. Thought Oilers would get a bit more seeing as Hall is a former #1 and still one of the best at his position. But this is just what both teams need, desperately.

Oliers gets some one who can solidify their D and give 23+ minutes of good to great 2-way play every game.

Devils gets some one who can drive their offence and on his day win games for them.

I think Larrson is definitely better than Hamonic. I have seen way more of Larsson than Hamonic but Larrson is an animal. Edmonton fans will LOVE this trade before November, no matter what Hall does.

That being said...awesome deal for the Devils (although I am hurting). Adam Larrson, we hardly knew ye...

Steal for EDM actually. Larsson is a stud #2D, and he'll hit 40+ points with the Oilers. Expect him manning the PP too.

Oilers fans should be thrilled. Larsson with Sekera will be a great pair. Or Larsson with Klefbom is good too on the PP.

Larsson will lift the Oilers PK unit tremendously.

Oilers became a better team. Maybe a playoff team this year if Puljujarvi is a stud and their top lines stay healthy. Defensively they're just really significantly better now.
