I'm not sure I would buy it unless there's a big improvement to graphics. Even then I really only played BOTW/TOTK on my own as well as Smash and Civ 6 with my buddies.

RDR1 coming to the Switch falls squarely into the category of games that I'd be pretty happy to play again once it's on a handheld.

Still waiting for Bethesda to take the hint and release FO3 and/or New Vegas to the Switch.

Yeah the chances of that happening are almost 0 now that Bethesda is owned by Microsoft.

Also if my decade long wait for a re-release of New Vegas (my favourite game of all time) ended with the equivalent of this RDR announcement think I would not be very impressed lol

Going to be weird hearing a different wahoo going forward, but not a huge deal, imho. Mario games are still going to be Mario games.

I hope he was able to step away from the role on his own terms rather than being forced aside, at the very least.

He's not exactly a young guy, and he tweeted right afterward about it, so.

I think he's still involved with the Mario series, he's just not Mario.

Eh, I got bored with the last couple 2D Mario games, so I'm not really interested.

Meanwhile, Cat Quest 3 getting a trailer and a nebulous release window made me happy. Those games are way more fun than they have any right to be.

Oh, and I didn't realize it was previously announced for other systems.

Anyone have thoughts on Sea of Stars yet? I'm obsessed with the aesthetic (it and Eastward are alone on a plateau for modern pixel art, as far as I'm concerned), so I'm super intrigued, but I feel like these things tend to be backed by a lack of substance, where the only qualities they capture of the games they're influenced by is the surface level side of it and not the actual depth, elegance, and tone (they always improve on the mechanics, but that's a pretty low bar to clear and relatively unimportant, IMO), and I've just been burned so many times now that I'm hesitant to dive in.

The reviews are great, but the way it handled that early flashback in the beginning does not really inspire confidence, for me.
