Glad I saw this as I almost missed it. I picked up the first Star Ocean game and a game called Dark Deity that I had never heard of but looks like a fire emblem knock off.
Triangle Strategy is a damn good game. Especially for those that like the story aspect of games. The combat is like any other turn based strategy game but if you like Fire Emblem you’ll like this game.

I did buy and play TS and enjoyed what I played. I really need to get back into it as the story and characters are interesting.

Definitely. Just to warn you there’s 3-4 endings. All really good so definitely worth the replays!
Just to kind of add on, I started Dark Deity really good game. It’s literally fire emblem so if you like those kinds of games, you’ll like this one!

Not just look. Definitely play style too. There is literally no sort of tutorial though so on the map you have to pause and there’s a tutorial option if you have questions. I know I sure needed it.

I took a nuanced approach to this whole fiasco, and didn't really appreciate Ms. Taylor throwing her replacement under the bus and telling people to boycott the game. That these facts came out a few days later definitely left some egg on people's faces. Of course Kamiya still acted like a moron, but the thing that gets me is...
Yeah, voice actors are probably underpaid, but false victimhood only hurts real victims. Hellena really should've either come out with all the facts or just kept quiet, and she definitely shouldn't even have mentioned Jennifer Hale or boycotting the game. In retrospect it makes her seem entitled and whiny, and boy did the tides turn yesterday. I'm also pretty sure that pre-orders for the game have increased in the last few days, sooooo good job.
Anyway, kept my pre-order and I'm still looking forward to the game. And if I'm being honest, when the first major trailer came about I didn't even notice it was a different VA.

Reviews just came out, and I have never been more excited and optimistic for a remaster than I currently am for Tactics Ogre Reborn, coming out tomorrow. Sounds like they nailed it and fixed every flaw from previous versions.

The only complaint I'm seeing is from people who are up in arms about smoothed out pixels, but I think it looks beautiful, personally.

Yeah, it's usb-C, so a cable should work, or Target has the one that plugs into the 12V outlet for 20 bucks, might give a faster charge

Have you had a chance to play it yet? I’m not the biggest fan so far but I’m pretty early in. Gameplay is VERY slow with no way to speed it up that I’ve found so far. Units are all cookie cutter of each other. Camera angle with the terrain makes it hard to see anything and the overhead view makes it look like I’m playing checkers. Feels like a lot of work and waiting throughout the game. I’m still going to keep playing but early impressions aren’t great.

It's one of my favorite games, so yeah, I'm loving it, personally. There is a speed up button-- I think you press in one of the analog sticks to get it. I'm not sure what you mean by units are all cookie cutter of each other.

I thought that was just an auto play function? When I pushed it it didn’t speed up at all.
By cookie cutter I mean every unit is a Warrior, Cleric, Archer, Wizard, or Valkyrie with a different name attached. Again very early in the game and I’ve never played it before but I was hoping for more of a fire emblem type where there’s more classes.
