Robbie had 3 shifts away from Tavares. In those 3 shifts he had 3 opportunities and 2 goals.

I don't think people comprehend how much better Nylander and Robertson are without Tavares.

Nicky Robbie showed he wanted more. Even if he didn’t score those goals, he was a spark plug out there. Reminds me of Kap when he was first called up.
Sammy is the MVP for me in this game. That second goal is a joke of call. He was in control the whole game and wasn’t in panic at all.

Massive game by Robertson, took Auston Matthews scoring hero role for the night.

Very comfortable with Samsonov in net.

Big 4 feel like they're not really clicking.

Why are Marner and Kerfoot always mixed up in bad plays and reviews?

Generally well played game but we're going to get mauled unless the shortage of muscle is addressed.

I think JT and Nylander look pretty good

You love to see it for Nicky Rob. Whole world thought Matthews was gunna shoot. Nice dish to Robertson and he’s not missing from there.

That was legitimately a fun finish. For some reason I expected Wedgewood to respect his shot more and chest to Robertson’s side.

Robertson did more in that last shift than Malgin did in all of the games he was gifted the 2LW combined.

Enough already. Robertson stays in the lineup.

I like you and all but seriously enough with this. This is getting annoying. Malgin deserved a chance and now Robertson is getting his chance. Thats all there is to it.
Also Malgin is still staying especially if bottom 6 won't provide much.

That was a very fun finish to the game.

Robertson was amazing. Another solid start from Samsonov too....

Despite the doom and gloom in the GDT, this ended up a pretty good game for the team minus some lackluster play from the first line for part of it

Ugly? Looked like a pretty good game to me. Maybe even good enough to shut the whiners up for a little bit (though I'm not counting on it).

First period was shaping up alot like the Coyotes games.

They woke up in the second. But the top line just isn't getting it done. PP also needs some work.
