Much like the team, Suzuki has underachieved in overall play

With that said, the team is a mess starting with the clown show behind the bench

It started with the worst run training camp ive ever seen, and we are like 12 games in and our top line center has seen Slaf, Heineman, Anderson, Dach as wingers already. Thats comically stupid

not much goals are coming off from the top 6 beside Caufield
easy to blame Suzuki right now which we know he can do way more than this but

Dach 1 goal
Slaf 1 goal
Newhook 2 goals

all playing in the top 6 for 10 games +
4 goals thats nothing

Over all I'm not down on Suzuki but I will call him out when he is particularly bad.
There is something off on that line maybe we keep moving around the wrong pieces. :dunno:

Suzuki is a gamer, he's clutch as hell in the playoffs (as shown in juniors with Guelph and in his rookie and sophomore seasons with us). I agree with a lot of posters. He seems bored and frustrated. Him and Caufield are alone upfront. We got to give them some help. It's demoralizing.

I think it's natural if Suzuki is getting frustrated with all the losing, but he's trying to keep it professional. It makes the game more like a job than a pleasure.

He's the oldest guy in the core they are trying to build, so he's likely the one most antsy about the continuous losing. It has to affect a guy at some point.

Not at all worried about Nick...but I thought he looked a bit heavy during the golf tournament.

Maybe his conditioning isn't where it should be.

Thick Nick?
