If memory serves me right it’s Larry Robinson.Whos the last Habs player to have 60 As?
He knows the importance of making his line mates better.Suzuki always gets underestimated.
He is also an extremely good goalscorer. Only, as a C, he doesn't shoot enough. I'd even argue that he needs to be a little more selfish to be even less predictable and, believe it or not, more effective.
Don't forget that Suzuki also scored 33 goals last year on 185 shots for an 17.8 shooting percentage.
This year, if he gets to 185 shots again by season's end, up from his current 158 shots (he'd need to shoot more, period), even with a lower shooting percentage for the year (16.5%),he'd score 30 goals again (30 on the nose).
Suzuki's scoring prowess is underestimated. He's aPPG C that will score 30 goals regularly, IMO, especially with an actual 2nd line when we get a genuine 2C and also add Demidov.
Let's just say that Suzuki doesn't need to be embarrassed in Cole Caufield's company when it comes to goal scoring.
Bobby Smith 1987-88 seasonWhos the last Habs player to have 60 As?
If we make the playoffs that story along with those 38 seconds against Florida will take on a bit of legendary status.Suzuki has raised his game to another level. As captain of the team he has rallied his teammates this spring. By him persuading management not to trade any of the veterans has gained him great respect with his teammates. Gallagher, Dvorak, Anderson, even Savard have all done their best to repay their Captain.
I would tentatively add Fowler to that list.Hutson. Suzuki & Caufield for the next decade is real real exciting. Add Demidov makes 4. Guhle, Slaf and Reinbacher make us a real force. The future is bright!!
Fowler is a long from being a top 10 at his position like Nick, Lane and Kaiden.I would tentatively add Fowler to that list.
Well, I did mention tentatively and we are talking about the next decade...Fowler is a long from being a top 10 at his position like Nick, Lane and Kaiden.
Kaiden is great but top-10 is kind of a reach.Fowler is a long from being a top 10 at his position like Nick, Lane and Kaiden.
Top 10 LD easy peasy. His claim is as strong as a top 10 LD as Lane.Kaiden is great but top-10 is kind of a reach.
I disagree it deserves the attention because of how bad it was then and how even worse it is now. The guy who wrote that article and build that model is an hardcore leafs fan and I remember how he deflected the blame on his model as if he was not the person that build that model in the first place.

NHL’s 10 worst contracts, 2022 edition: Tyler Seguin, Seth Jones and others
There are players who deserve the tag of having one of the worst contracts in hockey. Here is our list of the 10 worst ones.www.nytimes.com
Also funny to also see Werenski on that list too. It also show how ridiculous is it to try evaluating very good players on bad teams.
Nick getting recognition.
I'll be crazy a little bit here. But assuming he keeps up his post-4 nation pace and the Habs get in the POs, should he get Hart considerations?
It would give him around 90 points, he would finish between 7 and 12 in scoring.
9 GWG this yearMaybe I’m just slow but just realized tonight’s goal was yet ANOTHER game winner!
Thread title checks out.
