Can we get back to the real discussion. I can't believe Jarmo picked this guy up. What a horrible move. Terrible deadline day since we got a guy who can't even help the Oilers!

....yeah, you know who you are out there. :)

I still think we went after the wrong guy. He's doing ok, but let's not get all excited about a guy playing 12 minutes a night after 3 games.

We really do ride the roller coaster around here with players.

What we know is that we have a guy that has played some decent 3/4 in the past; but hasn't be, historically, a plus player in that role.

Depth, reliable to some extent. Nothing here to get excited about long term imo.

I'm just happy having a guy that can step in when needed. With Tyutin and Murray out he has done a reasonable job. Considering very little practice time I think his adjustment has been pretty good overall. You may see more minutes as the season moves on. Either way, he's been good enough to keep this train rolling.

But like Blah said, a better upgrade may have been nicer to see....

I think defensemen tend to do well when they keep it simple. Something interesting I've noticed...
