I am actually expecting a decent amount of regression from them this year TBH. could easily see them miss the playoffs entirelyPeople seem to forget that Krejci and Rask are actually very good players.

I think so too. People are forgetting that the last normal season last March before the COVID pause. The Leafs were just barely holding off the Panthers for 3rd place. And the Panthers have gotten better since then and we’ve gotten worse.
Plus a bunch of our forwards were either injured or playing injured, and our starting goalie was imploding. Our team is much better now than the team we were icing during that time. The Leafs also had half their top 4 D be injured during much of that time

Boston could be in a lot more trouble than people are imagining. You don't just lose Chara, Krejci, Krug, Halak and maybe Rask in 2 calendar years and not skip a beat. Florida could be a much bigger regular season test than the Bruins.
We keep saying that about Boston, and it keeps not happening. They are getting older Bergeron is 36, has groin issues, Marchand is 33, Krejci is gone, but replaced with Hall... Rask will be back, and they picked up a very good goalie in Ullmark. At some point in time, there should be a drop off, but we keep predicting it, and it keeps on not happening.

Still thank the hockey gods everyday that they don't have Barzal, Chabot and Connor coming in to replace their missing/aging pieces.
People used to say the same thing about Detroit and San Jose. When these teams fall apart it can happen in a hurry.
They are certainly worse. Cassidy is a terrific coach though so he might prop them up. He's done a great job on an average team with an amazing top line. This will be his biggest challange yet.I am actually expecting a decent amount of regression from them this year TBH. could easily see them miss the playoffs entirely
You get what you pay for. Play him with JT if he can't keep up with 34 and 16. I just hope he keeps the flies off our stars and puts some fear in opponent dmen retrieving pucks.I have a peep who is a massive Bruin fan. he said wait until you watch Ritchie skate. He actually looks like a HL at times...will see I guess.

Did their director of amateur scouting keep his job after that? That's not on the hockey gods, that's on Boston managementm
'looks like a HL'? Please explain
too bad he skates like a giraff...he's a bumRitchie is going to be Matthews’ bodyguard who also has some talent. I’m excited
