That’s the difference between a rental and someone with team control.
Tampa paid more for Jeannot than you just got for Orlov and Hathaway.

Personally, I think Tampa Bay overpaid for Jeannot. That does not necessarily mean that another team will overpay for Jensen.

I’m not really sold on Jensen to Toronto idea. Nothing against him but personally I think the LEAFS should offer the Preds a few roster players and a prospect for Ekholm.

Leafs need to resign ROR and Acciari, they won't have the cap to add Ekholm.
