Will if you look at the NBA they have New Jerseys each year as a part of their City line and their Earned line which appears to be returning this year. The NBA is the League the NHL competes with the most so it wouldn’t Surprise me it they took a page out of their playbook.
Not just the NBA, but look at the sport of soccer/football. They literally change kits every year, and people buy them up. Its an easy moneymaker for those leagues, and its kind of silly that American leagues haven't really attempted to do the same.

Bring back this alternate robo pens jersey as the current fourth jersey for the pens!

It’s the return of the Starter fashion jerseys.
The Knights jersey would be much better if it didn’t have that awful trim.

Its the trim that bothers me. Other than that it looks like an okay jersey. It does fit the concept of a retro jersey. It's a trim reminiscent of a trend we saw a couple decades ago.

Is 4th jersey really necessary? I mean, it got old really fast in the NBA, not sure why the NHL want to do the same thing.

Jersey is hideous but even more confusing other than the region the Sharks don't have any connection to them Seals>Barons>North Stars (merged)>Dallas Stars

But that's not true, you know?

the Sharks weren't born through a standard expansion draft process. Instead, they were part of weird combination expansion and dispersal draft with the North Stars, one that saw them stock their roster with Minnesota players before both teams took turns adding talent from the rest of the league.

Oh my god the Vegas ones are hideous. Kings are bad too, but at least they look like their actual team's and not a crossover of the Canucks' V and the Blackhawks colors.

Those Ducks jerseys might be in contention for the worst hockey jerseys ever made. Those things are f***ing disgusting.

Yeah, but it's such a GOOD ugly jersey. Like the Mustard cats or Mooterus. I'd argue the other Ducks alternates (the teal ones) were way worse because they weren't totally outlandish but still looked tacky. Ducks just need to bring back their OG whites. That's a top 10 in NHL history for me.
