I am trying to to watch the Boston and Florida game on ESPN+, but it is showing that game is blacked. I am in Iowa. Anyone have an insight?

The game is now on NHL Network with SJ/WPG starting late. Still waiting on them to add that to their upcoming/live games but wouldn’t hold your breath

If you have the bundle that includes Hulu try Hulu. The game is not blacked out there.

So with the NHL Network games once again blacked out as national telecasts, and the NHL Network switching games last minute last night, the Sharks-Jets game ended up lost in the shuffle and wasn't available to watch for most, and it's still not up on ESPN+ for me as a replay.

If they're going to do this crap, they need to have better communication. But the main point really is that if they didn't black out the NHL Network games, this wouldn't be an issue in the first place. It's all so stupid on so many levels.

Anyone figure out how to view previous games on AppleTV? I only see about 3 to 4 days back. What if I want to see a game from a week ago? How can I access it?

Also why can't the NHL/ESPN/etc use the cable provider credentials to get past blackouts. I'm already paying for cable and the quality is much better streaming than from the cable provider, so give me the option to stream the feed that I'm already paying for. Same if I missed a local game. Now I have to wait 48 hrs to view it. I should be able to view it on demand whenever since I'm subscribed to a cable provider and could use my login to authenticate like other streaming services, e.g. HBOMax.

I have NHL Live since last season and last season the post game shows were aired...this season the feed cuts off at the end of the game. Anyone else notice that?

I've subscribed to NHL CenterIce for a few years. This season (and the shortened one last year) I notice that the post game shows aren't part of the feed. To be fair, not every game had a post-game show in past years via Center Ice. I wonder if they're cutting that out all together. As I recall, there were pre-game shows as well, once in a while. That's also gone.

NHL TV was playing up all night, now it's completely died as the flyers go into overtime.

This really is a f***ing pathetic service.

I don’t have ESPN+ but I am currently watching the Ducks/Coyotes game via Hulu which then goes to ESPN+. Same with the Kings/Devils. I’m confused.

**Just tried to access the same games through the ESPN app and could not.

Those are the 75 exclusive ESPN+/Hulu games, which aren't available on any TV channel (including locally). So that you have Hulu, you can watch those games. Which the exclusive games are Tuesday's and Friday's (in January Thursday replaces Friday as the exclusive night for the rest of the season, but will still be some Friday games) ...

... for your sake, ignore the espn+ part, they're Hulu exclusive games, for you.

For example, Tuesday on Hulu you can watch both the Panthers-Devils & Kraken-Golden Knights games. A week from tonight you can watch Oilers-Sabres & Coyotes-Blackhawks on Hulu.

When I do the multiview and watch 4 games at once on Apple TV, when I then click on a specific game, and watch that game, when I revert back to multiview, the other three games are not live and are basically resumed from when you left.

Anyone know how to set it to continuously live during multiview?

Does anyone still notice the audio-sync issues that persist using NHL Live with the Apple TV app? If I'm watching a game it will start out fine, but as the game progresses (after intermissions and commercial breaks) I'm noticing the audio has jumped ahead of the video by a second. To fix this, I have to back out of the game and load another. Once I jump back into my game it will be synced up again for a while. This was an issue 2 seasons ago and it appears it's still not fixed. I'm assuming it's just the Apple TV app but curious if anyone else still has this issue?

is the frito lay xmas commercial being played over and over again driving any fellow canadians bonkers yet ?
Haha - yes - I'm sure I'll be tired of that commercial soon too. But if the NHL needs any help with ice decals I'm becoming an expert.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but man....Have they started pushing for the NHL.TV subscription, on the phone app now for last few days for every single video you wanna watch there's an ad of the "NHL.tv subscription". Even for every separate goal you wanna watch. The highlight video is 30sec and the ad is 15sec every time. It's super annoying.

I’ve noticed games are being archived much more quickly this year and that’s a God send . Ten minutes ( even less ) after a game is over , the game is archived . The quality of the video is much better when it is archived and when using a Roku the app doesn’t give away the scores of a game which it often does while a game is in progress.

I have been an NHLTV subscriber many years. Thanks for selling out to ESPN. I retired to Australia and have Stage IV heart failure and restricted to bed 24x7. NHLTV was a lifeline.
I watched every game live or archived as what else can I do! Nothing. Now look at the availability for NHL in Australia. We are the last tier behind countries that have less population than Sydney itself. I am sure negotiations with providers here had something to do with it also. The ONLY option is ESPN which gives me 5 random games per week and no option for archives.
The cliché is real for me. "Your Killing ME"
Sorry about the whinging. Thank You for listening.

ESPN really does need to update it's interface. Now that College Basketball has started, if you are in multi-cast mode, it takes a while to find the hockey games. Heck, they made the Panther game invincible during the second and third periods.

Agreed - I found a work around to go directly to the NHL section. It would be nice if they had a NFL redzone like scneario where you can tap into different games.

Any word on if they are going to let us start a game from the beginning?
Right now I’m just staring at the bottom of the screen with the sound off and rewinding.

I understand how this is all great for those who didn’t want to pony up the cash before, but if you were on nhl tv this whole thing is a downgrade in the experience. I’m watching less games because of it.

i feel exactly the same way. I would much rather shell out the money for nhl tv again than to have to guess where I need to stop rewinding, blind mind you because I don't want the score ruined.

This man announced The Rush where he said he wouldn’t talk and then he proceeds to mumble under his breath about what’s going on.

What the hell is that lmao.
