BTW, interesting note on the Sharks rookie roster, they're the only team that I've seen who invited 3 players who were previously invited to other teams June/July development camps; Jalen Chatfield (BUF), Jason Fram (EDM) and Eric Roy (CBJ) are the players.

The team assigned the following four players to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL): D Guillaume Gelinas, C Adam Gilmour, D Alex Gudbranson and G Adam Vay.

The team also assigned RW Dmitry Sokolov to Sudbury (OHL) and released C Parker Bowles, F Alex Petan, and D Nolan Zajac from their professional tryout contracts. Bowles, Petan and Zajac will report to training camp for the Iowa Wild.

Flyers general manager Ron Hextall announced today that the following players were released from Flyers training camp and will report to the club's AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, training camp on Friday, Sept. 30:

Mark Dekanich, Chris McCarthy, Maxim Lamarche, Martin Ouellette, Jesper Pettersson, Steve Swavely, Kevin Sundher.

The Flyers training camp roster now stands at 49 players.

All were PTOS except for Pettersson

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have assigned three players to their junior teams.

Forwards Jordan Kyrou and Filip Helt will return to the Sarnia Sting, while Adam Musil will re-join the Red Deer Rebels.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have made three roster moves, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Forward James McEwan and defenseman Brandon Crawley have been released back to their junior teams. Both were attending camp on amateur tryout contracts.

Defenseman Connor Hall, who was chosen by the Penguins in the third round (77th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft, was re-assigned to his junior team, the Kitchener Rangers.
