Look im not saying this is the 'right' play

but if the bruins were dedicated to trading a goalie, there would be a much better bidding war for Swayman than Ullmark.

Ullmark's agent can figure out a 16 team no-trade-list who aren't interested / no cap.

Meanwhile Swayman would attract the obvious suitors (LA, NJD, EDM) but also teams who would sign him long-term (OTT, PHI, BUF, etc.)

But Swayman is the franchise guy you want to build around for the next 8 years. He is a lot younger and having a much better year. You don't move him , you sign him
