JBD worked OK with Brannstrom last season.

I wonder if they try him with Byram or Power...

sens fans aren't happy fwiw
This is a bit misleading, it depends on which Sens fans you are referring to. Some Sens fans had their eyes, unrealistically, on some of the other Sabres young stars.

I personally really like Josh Norris and there's a huge difference in our play when he's in the lineup vs when he's not, unfortunately the guy is made out of glass, so that is something the Sabres will have to manage if he ends up in Buffalo.

I’m gonna be honest…there isn’t much that could be on the other side of a Cozens trade that will make me blink.

The good news is that the work will have begun in earnest.
True, if he’s permitted/willing to move Cozens maybe some of these other idiots can get the boot too

Norris is head and shoulders better than cozens at center (center being a key word here)

The sabres need centers

They now have 1 top 6 center on the team, which is much better than the zero they have had for the past couple seasons

Trading away what fans voted as the most disappointing player + for Norris and Docker isn't big to me. Especially when there are bigger needs
Well thats sort of why I think it is

We traded away a $7M player, wearing a letter, sort of filling our 2C role, that most people thought was actively hurting the team.

Good return or not, thats a big move

Trading a guy you gave 50 million dollars to and watched fall off a cliff is a big deal
I am all for trading Cozens but two points.....Adams not the guy doing it. Getting a guy that can play more than 50-60 games

Idk I guess big deal to me is filling a big need. Its also no a surprise Cozens was moved..

Norris does (or at least I hope he can) fill the need for a top 6 if he can stay healthy. A top 4 d man would be huge for me. Docker just seems like a whatever depth RHD

I don't hate the trade just feel like Petterson or a top 4 partner for Power would be "big"

“Players that come out of Buffalo have had great success”

Weird they never mention Mittelstadt

TSN desperately trying to convince themselves that Dylan Cozens is hard to play against and a big physical tough guy
I dont listen to WGR much, but did a few days ago and I think it was jeremy that made a good point. Everyone talks about jack, sam, ROR going on to have success. They were all certifiably good here. It wasn't like it was a bunch of guys that struggled then magically approved upon departure.

Maybe montour would kind of fit that bill but thats about it

TSN desperately trying to convince themselves that Dylan Cozens is really hard to play against and a big physical tough guy

Voice after voice talking about how he will take some of Tkachuk’s fights and toughness.

This man lost a fight to Jesperi Kotkaniemi last week

He stood by and watched Dahlin get pummeled by multiple players twice…LAST NIGHT.

Once when Dahlin had to race in to defend him.

The f*** are they talking about?

Dylan is a bitch never stood up for Dahlin once even though he introduced him to his family and vacationed with him in Europe. Hathaway stole his soul glad hes gone.
