Kevyn Adams is the worst GM in history. Why a 2nd round pick too? Get this clown away from the franchise.

If Peterka really wants out and the value is there, fine. If it isn’t, try to do better next year and change his mind.

Its a sellers market and Cozens gets traded for a player one hit away from retirement, a fringe NHL defenseman who will be in the doghouse soon enough and gives away a 2nd round pick.

Laughten 4th and 6th gets a 1st round pick.

Look man, I think it’s a pretty meh move, but describing Norris that way instead of, 25 year old ACTUAL centerman, 35 goals scorer, under contract for 8 years, does make it pretty easy to hate the deal. You could describe Cozens as, overpaid, soft winger who has regressed two consecutive years after cashing in on an unsustainable shooting pct for a 7 year deal.

The Sabres don't need to be trading NHLers for 1st round picks.

Norris only have 5 yrs after this one.

No one said they do but its called a comparison for value. Are you not capable of seeing that? :dunno:
Usually a comparison such as that means that you like the other option more. In this case, draft picks.

The Sabres do not need picks. And trying to compare the value of NHLers such as Norris and JBD to a pick is tenuous at best.

For me, I'll take the change of scenery NHLers over a pick and the dream that Adams could flip it for an NHLer that is better than Norris+JBD.

I guess when it comes down to it you believe and trust in Adams where I don't.

Yea dude who needs another JJP in the second round when you can flip every second for malenstyn's etc.

I'm surprised Dallas paid as much as they did for a guy they could have most likely had on July 1st for nothing (minus the cost of the contract of course). It seems Rantenen was picky about who he was gonna play for, so they would have had a leg up anyways.

Dallas must think this puts them over the top or at least close to it this year. They're going for it I guess.

Helps their Cup run this year. They might be the favorite right now.
