Surprised people think it's going to be the Rangers. They look done. It's going to be either Montreal or Islanders.
What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

You had me in the first half.If you think that Alex Ovechkin has been playng anything close to resembling “hockey” for the last decade plus…then I don’t know what to tell you. He’s basically been a marketing gimmick for that organization. It’s not hockey. He doesn’t actually help his team win. He scores goals at the expense of his team, if that makes sense. It might not be so noticeable now because he has a good team around him, but watch him play for a shift. He barely even moves.
This is an actual real post on the Pens board.
If they try to score, they can't defend. If they try to defend, they can't generate scoring chances. They don't have guys who can play a 200 foot game (maybe JT Miller, and he's slowed down), and several of their guys obviously don't want to.I keep thinking their elite talent is gonna come through and drag them into the playoffs.
I guess there's still time.
They had 13 SOG last night in a loss to the Flames. 13…at MSG. They just might be cooked.I keep thinking their elite talent is gonna come through and drag them into the playoffs.

Anyone watching Geno every game and ripping on Ovie might not be watching the same sport. If you think that Alex Ovechkin has been playng anything close to resembling “hockey” for the last decade plus…then I don’t know what to tell you. It has to be a coaching problem. Lavi has been the head coach almost 2 full seasons and the team is so hit and miss from game to game. There has to be a huge disconnect in that dressing room. Many of those players have been together for long enough that they should be cohesive. It's not like they have turned over half their roster. If they try to score, they can't defend. not at all. I had him at a 3rd at topsWhat was Jensen’s value at the time of the Chychrun trade? Late first?

I would say second, probably not first.Propably somewhere between late 1st and 2nd round pick. Tough to gauge his value really because while there were lots of teams that couldn't easily add that much cap without moving some, Jensen was definitely one of the more interesting fits to the teams that had cap space given he didn't have any trade protection. Sens GM basically mentioned that at the time of the trade that they struck out on basically all their D targets and we already knew that anyone that has any kind of trade protection has Sens on their no-trade list.

At home, in the JT Miller revenge game, no less. They’re getting booed at every whistle by the home team.Rags getting outshot 16 to 2, 5 mins into the 2nd is hilarious.

They have Lavi in his second year of contract. It all makes sense! Haha. And somehow they still win the game. I don't get the people being dismissive of the Rags. They're 1 season removed from winning the presidents trophy, sweeping the caps, and making the conference final, and it is undeniable that they have enough talent to be a real threat.
They lost trouba, I guess, but other than that, I don't see any really significant changes in the core of the roster from last season to this one.
Momentum can be a strange thing in hockey, and it really wouldn't surprise me to see them sneak into the playoffs and suddenly turn it on.
