What is this victory dance all about? 1-1.5M viewers is what the average regular season NBA game draws.

NHL Finals games draw that or a bit more as the series goes on.

Stanley Cup Finals television ratings - Wikipedia

I'm not saying the ratings suck but gloating about them being stellar is way premature.

That said, as predicted before the tournament started, tonight's game should draw a lot of viewers.

Didn't I already say at least twice that tonight would have good ratings?

Telling someone look at the numbers and go take a nap and they've lost and posting a dancing gif is about as close to gloating as it gets on the internet, bruh.

Yeah I knew you wouldn’t lol….

He made the comment about himself taking the nap first, I simply replied. My gif was also in response to his Vanilla Ice. I happen to like Ice Ice Baby and some Backstreet and Nsync lol…sue me.

Maybe catch up and get back to me?

Another great game, can’t wait for the Olympics and the World Cup to be back in regular rotation. lol at anyone who thought guys would mail it in wearing their nation’s colors like they do during the ASG.

Speaking of mailing it in, this tournament cannot be good for the mental wellbeing of Canucks fans. Elias Pettersson has been invisible, and that’s putting it nicely.

The NHL needs to move to a 3 point standings system just like the Four Nations. It's stupid how NHL OT games are worth more overall points than non-OT games!

The 4N system would be better than the current one. Although somewhat more complicated, imo a 5-4-3-2-1 system would be even better.
Regulation W = 5 points for the winner, 0 for the loser
Overtime W = 4 points for the winner, 1 for the loser
Skills competition W = 3 points for the winner, 2 for the loser
OT is still team-based hockey, and a team that wins in OT deserves to be awarded more than a shootout winner. A team that loses in a shootout deserves more recognition/a better fate than one that loses in OT.
4N has at least moved to a system where all matches have the same # of points to be distributed, eliminating one of the "inequities" of the NHL's current approach.

That's too much fuss IMO. Just make all games worth the same and see how that works out.
