I was sort of hoping that the final wouldn’t be USA-Canada just for unpredictability. This is the real problem with only having 4 teams. Not much suspense or mystery.

Quick read of his wiki doesn't mention any strife with the team, excepting that when they decided to go with Aiden Hill as the starter for the remainder of the playoffs and then to start Hill for the next season, LT requested a trade. Cassidy may just be resentful of that?

The LT story is silly. We’ve all seen the post-game locker room scenes. He may not be as beloved as Chuckie but they celebrate Thompson plenty.
