They’re saying on the intermission report that the Rangers can be so much better than this but I’m not convinced. I think the fact that Florida is a team that just absolutely dominates puck possession disrupts the Rangers from doing what they want to do, which is use speed to draw penalties and score on the PP to swing momentum. It works a lot for them this year, and it’s a valid strategy, Florida has just been shutting it down and exposing their flaws.

Rangers don't learn. Lundqvist stood on his head for them, but the team was not good enough to win the Cup. Shesterkin stood on his head, Rangers team wasn't good enough to reach this years Cup Final.

Very telling stat: Rangers swept the Caps 4-0 and went up 3-0 against the Canes. Since that 7-0 start, they ended the playoffs 3-6!
