seems like that's been the case for a while now. If you even have a half a chance of covering you're gonna get a whistle, even if you're sometimes not actually covering the puck

Caps now in 11th, only 2 pts from 9th and 3 pts from 8th but Wings have a game in hand.

Was pretty much a perfect night for the tank last night.

Vancouver with the late comeback against to go to OT vs Blues to make it a 3 point game. Both only two points behind and have played better than the Caps lately and have easier schedules. Detroit have been quite bad so I have more faith in the western teams passing us.

Flyers have also gone on a 4 game winning streak and is now 6 points behind with a game in hand. They also have a easy schedule with Columbus and Chicago among the bad teams and of other non playoff teams they play Blues, Sabres and Ottawa. Unlykely they catch us, but not impossible considering the hard schedule for Caps.
