The only reason Twenty One Pilots was playing at this game is because they’re both from Columbus and have strong ties to the city. Otherwise, they’re probably too big for this type of event.

They’re still making music having released their latest album less than a year ago and in the midst of a world tour. On Spotify alone they have 3 songs with over 1.9 billion streams each - what other artists remotely on that level do you think the NHL can actually land for one of its games?
