I will say, after this game (and especially how the result turned on a 50/50 Inevitable Stupid Rulebook Screw), I'm rooting for Detroit as the other wildcard alongside us. I was kind of already inclined to go with that, but that's solidified it.

Looked like a high stick and a missed call as i see it from watching highlights after getting home.

but dont care. they had ample opportunities to win that game. sucks to lose on a missed call. but they even out in the end.

Great event to go to, big win for the CBJ, and hopefully we can play better next game

No they defended their lead, and when they tied it up, Danforth made DAMN sure that puck was going into the net. It's the type of play you see in playoff hockey. When someone, through sheer will, makes a statement like that....it's legendary.

It's certainly both. He was lucky not to get a penalty but Danforth is a smart veteran that plays to the whistle (taking notes Big Ed?) and made a great determined play to score. Fighting through defenders and then getting your own rebound to score, that's a gutty play.
