Friedman has some interesting points. First story is heart jwrker. Nothing new WRT Sharks GM search or Kane grievance (no settlement talks at all).

Cheaters gambled and lost. No not talking about Kane, but Las Vegas. They eliminated themselves by losing to the Hawks.

They gambled on a $130m salary with good players and a star on LTIR for most of the season to only come back at the very tail end of the season when they were fighting for a WC spot. They're LTIR reserve bank didn't build up in time to get these players back into NHL game shape.

Not to mention ignoring a NTC clause. This team needs to get fined, and lose their 1st round pick.

Vegas was quick to trade away what made the team strong.

My issue with Vegas isn't that they kicked vets to the curb or 'rigged' the draft, they were a dirty dirty team to play against. Those first few season they looked like they were throwing hits to hurt players.
