Current RD Justin Braun UFA
I came to seriously enjoy watching Braun. He's more interesting than the usual dman of his ilk, or he was. Dmen like him are usually pure defenders and turrets on offense. Braun was more calculating in his own way.

Geez. Gotta start digging deep for guys. Ivan is technically a center. Tradition dictates I should leave him there. But I won't. Traditional roles must be destroyed. Boldirev has decent size. He played for 15 years, keeping up with the increasingly high flying 80s as a geezer. So between that and the skating duties of a center, I'm sure the switch will be easy for him. He is playing RD so he can use his left-handed shot to clap fresh dongs.
I'm going to begin figuring out who is left. This is taking longer than it was for me

Legend RD Tomas Sandstrom UFA
Sandstrom was another big boy. Tough guy. Power forward. Did good production. We are moving him to RD, where he will power-defend around his own crease. Another guy who played 15 years across eras. He is adaptable, and he was a good contributor on some really solid lines and teams. Played on Gretzky's wing in LA. Getting teed up by Gretzky was good training, because here we expect him to blast the dong.

Pahlsson was a defensive center. A very good one. Perennial Selke candidate despite unimpressive offense. He will do. He'll defeat traditional roles by moving to defense and serving the heaping dong from the blue line.

I have a lot going on this weekend, so I just sent my picks to Cap because this needs to end so we can go on with the new phase.
It's hard to see past the hate I feel for the Flyers, to be honest. I usually have more than enough to go around, but I'm really finding myself using it all up on my most hated team, Philadelphia.
