I don't know about that. "Let's eat carrots together" sounds a bit menacing.

And it happened, lol

I’m setting up for a gig, almost done, just sound checking my guitars and mic when a lady walks up and asks, “are you playing music tonight?” Luckily my brain caught up with my mouth (for once) and I didn’t add “here’s your sign” after I told her “yup, I start at 6”

My next thought was to suggest that she apply for a job with the Flyers.

Idea for a supplemental draft. This may play havoc with the 'boxes' but how about we pick

1. Favorite movie scene from different genres. Horror, drama, action etc...

And/or

2. Favorite scene from movie franchises. Bond, Star wars, Hitchcock etc...

I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but the first one is actually my Team One Hit Wonder, and the second bonus one is my Team Warmup Song. I’m both pleased we are on the same wavelength and sad face I don’t have a new song!

I legitimately had no clue, though I might have guessed the latter.

Maybe I’ll have to swing back around later to get you a new song.

Hey guys,

I haven’t been around much this weekend. I know I’m still “up” to take my redraft and I’ll get around to it.

HCette’s dad passed away on Friday night fairly suddenly all things considered. He’s been fighting lung cancer since ‘19 but has had clean scans since the initial area was dealt with besides one small thing since then including a scan last week. He had the brain tumor that some of you probably remember a little while back that was dealt with with seemingly no issues. So while he hasn’t had an easy paper route the last few days he was seemingly on the way up.

Friday morning he had an appointment with a surgeon to get the green light for a surgery to help with some back pain he was having and he got the go ahead.

Fast forward to Friday night and he started coughing up blood so they called 911 and an ambulance came and he passed away on his way to the hospital.

Life sucks, guys. Appreciate every second you get with your people.

That's eerily similar to what happened to my dad. My condolences.
